Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra - Carnival of the Animals - Monday, March 4th - Featuring TCD Dancers

Prepare to be whisked away on a whimsical journey through the animal kingdom, where music, poetry, and dance converge in a spectacle of imagination and talent. The Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra is delighted to present our 2024 Annual Young Person's Concert, Carnival of the Animals, a symphonic experience designed to captivate and inspire West Alabama's youngest audience members. Helping us bring to life the enchanting world of Saint-Saëns' masterpiece are 4th graders from every elementary school in the Tuscaloosa City Schools District, the Hillcrest High School Theatre Department and the Tuscaloosa Community Dancers. Plus, the TSO will also perform Grieg's Holberg Suite for Strings. This unique performance not only introduces children to the beauty of symphonic music but does so through an engaging blend of poetry, acting, and dance. Performances will take place on Monday, March 4th at: 9:30 AM, 10:45 AM, and 12:30 PM. This event is not only a wonderful first-time experience for young music enthusiasts but also a cherished occasion for the entire community. Teachers: There's still time to sign up for this extraordinary educational opportunity. Bring your students to witness the magic of live performance and the transformative power of music. Register your class at tsoonline.org/education. General Admission tickets are also available for purchase at tsoonline.org. Don't miss this opportunity to support young talent and experience the joy of music through the eyes of our youngest performers!
